On October 26, 2026, Day 4 of the Worlds Swiss Stage delivered the eliminations fans had feared and needed. Anyone's Legend, the LPL's top seed, leaves the tournament winless. Team Liquid and LOS, two underdogs clawing back from 0-2, are the ones sending them home.
Team Liquid 2-0 Anyone's Legend: One of Worlds's Biggest Shocks
Team Liquid swept Anyone's Legend in two decisive games. AL, who arrived as the LPL's darling, took home zero series and only three games total across Worlds. The disaster sealed itself by Round 3: a top seed eliminated without a single win is shock even for Worlds history. Team Liquid rises to 2-2 and keeps its Quarterfinal hopes alive.
LOS 2-0 Team Secret Whales: Brazil's Lifeline Holds
LOS, who entered with two losses already, also eliminated its opponent on Monday. CBLOL's star stays alive by taking down Team Secret Whales 2-0, an unexpected upset against the underdog. LOS climbs to 2-2, level with Team Liquid in the bracket: one more win unlocks the Quarterfinals.
Wednesday, October 28: Round 4 Begins the Final Sprint
Tomorrow, Round 4 opens. Three 2-1 teams (T1, Movistar KOI, LYON, Invictus Gaming, Top Esports, Bilibili Gaming) fight for two direct Quarterfinal berths. Six teams at 1-2 face elimination matches: a single loss sends you home. By Friday, the last four Quarterfinal spots will be decided in one of the most intense runs Worlds has seen.
